Emmarose has been a part of the Shepherds Vineyard Swim Team for the past 17 years. This year will mark her third full year of coaching, but fourth on the coaching staff. Shepherds Vineyard was where she began her competitive swimming career, and she just finished it at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where she had just graduated from. Specializing in Backstroke and Freestyle does not prevent her from having great experience and expertise in all 4 strokes. She cannot wait and is looking forward to a very fun first year as a head coach right beside Meg Giuliano.
Meg Giuliano swam for the Killer Whales for 10 years. She started helping the coaches with the younger age groups when she was 13 and has been coaching the team for 2 years, but this will be her first year as a co-head coach alongside Emmarose. She was a part of her high school swim team at Apex for all 4 years and was a captain her senior year. She was also swimming for the TAC Titans for about 5 years, where she later became an assistant coach. Meg is a rising sophomore at UNCW where she is studying English and French. She is super excited for another season with SVKW and the opportunity to work with all of the kids and a great group of coaches!
Lauren Nance is a rising senior at Apex High School and has swam since she was 6 years old. She loved swimming at Shepherds Vineyard so much that she joined TAC Titans. Lauren has also been a member of her high school swim team for the past 3 years and will be a co-captain next year. This will be Lauren’s first year on the coaching staff and is looking forward to cheering on the Killer Whales!
Jac ReVille is a rising sophomore at Rollins College in Orlando. He is on the swim team there and was a multi-event finalist at the conference level as a freshman. Jac has been swimming competitively for the last 10 years and has had over 7 years of experience of coaching younger swimmers to better their skills. This is his first year coaching at Shepherd’s Vineyard and he can’t wait to have fun coaching and watching the growth of all the swimmers.
JJ Chapman has just finished his freshman year swimming at UMBC in Baltimore, Maryland. JJ has been a Killer Whale since the age of 4 and is very excited to continue to help Shepherd’s Vineyard continue to be a successful community. He can’t wait to help out all the kids this year, and is excited to watch them succeed.
Olivia is a rising senior. Since she was 5 years old, she has been on the Killer Whales swim team. Although she loves swimming she has always played multiple sports throughout the year, including soccer, volleyball, spikeball, and many more. She enjoys biking, tubing down the river, and hiking the trails in the mountains with her family. Coach Margaret has been such an inspiration to her over the years and is thrilled to have the opportunity to coach this summer.
