Rosemary is 19 years old and a rising sophomore at Xavier University, studying chemistry. She has swam for Shepherd's Vineyard for 12 years, the Marlins of Raleigh for 10 years, and swam for Xavier's swim club this past winter. Although she enjoys all of the strokes, her favorite is butterfly. This will be her third year coaching the Belugas, and she is so excited for this season!

Killer Whale Coaching Staff
Jim is a dedicated swimming coach with a background in both competitive swimming and coaching. A 13-time Collegiate All-American, Jim swam throughout high school and college, ultimately graduating from Cortland State College with a degree in Physical Education. After his time as a swimmer, Jim honed his coaching skills as an assistant coach for the Schenectady Swim Club's age group program for three years. He went on to lead the Green Hope High School Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving teams as Head Coach for an impressive 10 years, guiding athletes to success both in and out of the pool.
James is 20 years old and swam for Shepherd’s Vineyard for 15 years. He swam competitively for Grace Christian for 5 years, becoming the captain in his senior year, went to the State Championship for 4 out of the 5 years, he swam for the Marlins of Raleigh for 3 years, and now swims for the East Carolina Club Swim Team. His best strokes are freestyle and breaststroke. This will be his 4th year coaching this summer. He is excited to see everyone!
Callie is 17 and a rising senior at Apex High school. This will be her 12th year swimming for Shepard’s Vineyard and her 5th year coaching the team. Her favorite stroke is backstroke.
Lyla is 15 and a rising sophomore at Apex High School, This will be her 4th year swimming for SVKW and 3rd year coaching. She swam for RSA for 5 years and her best strokes were butterfly and breaststroke. She hopes for a great season and is so excited to see everyone!
This is my 14th year swimming for Shepherds Vineyard and my second year coaching for the team. I've been swimming competitively at WAVE swim team for six years, and prior to that I swam at RSA for eight years. I am currently a rising senior at Apex High School. I'm so excited to see how fast and how far we will go this year!
Luke is 16 years old and a rising high school junior. He’s been swimming on summer swim teams since he was four and the past nine seasons have been with Shepherd’s Vineyard. Outside of summer swim, Luke has been swimming for WAVE Swim Club for the past five years. He has also competed as a part of his school’s varsity swim team and qualified for the state meet for the past three seasons. Luke has volunteered to help with the SVKW team in past summers and is excited to continue in a new role this season as a junior coach.
Noah has been a part of the SVKW Swim Team for the past nine summers. In addition to summer swim team, he’s been swimming year-round for the past four years at WAVE and really enjoys swimming breaststroke. As a rising junior, Noah has been a part of his school’s varsity swim team since 8th grade and has participated in the state meet the past three seasons.Noah is looking forward to serving as a junior coach this summer and welcoming the team back to the pool!
Cal is a 15-year-old rising sophomore at Apex High. He has swum for Shepherds Vineyard for 10 years and for the Marlins of Raleigh for 9 years. His favorite stroke is butterfly, but he really likes them all! This is his first year coaching and he is very excited to meet everyone!
