2022 Coaching Update

Good morning, Killer Whales!!

All good things must come to an end.

For our returning swimmers and their families, the 2022 season is going to bring a big change…

We are very sad to announce that, after 7 seasons as the SVKW Head Coach, Margaret Geiger will not be returning as our Head Coach this season. However, we are also happy to know that she is excited about taking on the opportunity of a new job outside of swimming. We wish her all the very best with her new endeavors. The entire team appreciates all of her contributions and we will miss her very much!

A Message from Coach Margaret:

I want to give a huge thank you to all of the swimmers, families, board members, and coaches for making my time at Shepherds Vineyard so special. When I joined the coaching team 7 years ago, I couldn’t imagine that the community would become what it has - a family. I am fortunate to have spent so many years with SV, and for that I will always be grateful!

I am going to miss coaching, but I know that the team is in great, capable hands. I am excited to watch the team grow and evolve, and to watch the swimmers I’ve known for 7 years continue to succeed. SV has become a second home, and will always have a special place in my heart!

New Coaching line up for 2022 Season:

We are excited to welcome our new line up of coaches for the 2022 summer swim season.
