Happy 1st week of 2022 swim team practice, Killer Whales!

We hope everything went well for you and your swimmers.

Once the season gets up and running, we will usually be sending out a Pre-Meet email on Fridays, with information about the following Tuesday's meet.

Signing swimmers up for meets:

Please be aware that you must sign your swimmers up for each meet where you want them to participate. The deadline for doing so is noon on the Sunday before the meet. If you have a super busy schedule, you may want to set a reminder to check this sign up every week.

For example, if you want to enter your swimmer in the 6/14 meet, you need to go to https://shepherdsvineyard.swimtopia.com/swim_meets... and click on Meet Entry button for that meet to declare that your swimmer will be swimming. For the 6/14 meet, you must do this BEFORE noon on Sunday 6/12 or your swimmer may not get to swim at that meet. We want to try to prevent upset kids at meets wherever possible!!

New Swim Team Parents:

If you are not sure what to expect at meets, please plan to attend our last  New Parent Meeting at the pool on Thursday 6/2 at 5pm.

Volunteer Updates:

Thankfully, our Volunteer Coordinator is feeling a lot better and she has started reaching out to everyone who had questions or concerns about signing up for their volunteer shifts. If Anne hasn't already reached out to you, she will be doing so soon. She has been moving a lot of shifts around behind the scenes and will do her best to match you up with shifts that will work for you.

We REALLY appreciate your patience and understanding while she has been sick.
