Shout Out to Our Volunteers!

Volunteer Highlight: Our Coaches and Kid Pushers had their work cut out for them the  past two weeks as illness caused quite a few kids to have to pull out of the last two meets. The team owes a major debt of gratitude to our Head Coaches, Kate Helmedag, and Richard Nuss for working fast and furiously to stay on top of the ever-changing line-ups of swimmers. The Kid Pushers were a great help as well as they stayed flexible to keep up as adjustments were made. They all shouldered the stressful parts so the rest of us could enjoy cheering our swimmers on. Give them a huge thank you next time you see them.

Thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers for their help and donations for the Ice Cream Social and Breakfast. Both were great events and enjoyed by all! We truly have the best families! Thank you for helping to make summer swim so special, your help is appreciated so much.

Gifts for Coaches, Past and Present.

This is the final call for donations towards a gift for our previous Head Coach, Margaret Geiger, before we purchase. You can send Venmo donations to @lesley-kohler or PayPal donations to @kohlercash (please make sure the payment is between "friends" rather than a business transaction so that we don't have to pay service fees.).

Next week, July 8, we’ll be hosting a Coaches Appreciation Luncheon

-Lunch for just the coaches is provided as a thank you to our current Coaching team. You can donate food by signing up here:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0a4ca9ae23a46-c...

-Thank you cards or hand-drawn pictures are being collected through Friday morning, 7/8 (drop them off at the SV Snack Bar).

-Gift Cards:  Rachel Levesque will also be collecting gift cards (for any amount) to put into a fun card for the coaches (deadline for gift cards is July 7th, 7pm).  Email her for questions and to arrange gift card drop-off at her home (1002 Old Carriage Ct., Apex 27502, in Shepherds Vineyard - email first, please don't just show up)
