Volunteers Needed to Make Cary City Meet FUN FUN FUN!!
The Cary City Meet is scheduled for Saturday 7/15 at Cary Swim Club.
If you are new to the team, please check out the information below about this meet.
It is quite the event and very different from our usual Tuesday night dual meets!
We NEED a volunteer (or a group of parents working together as a team) to make this a fun event for our kids!
Your SVKW Board & coaches will take care of the Meet Admin side of getting ready for the meet, but we need help with the SPIRIT side of things - vote on a theme, help kids make decorations and plan costumes, set up & decorate the tent, etc.
We had a lot of new families attend CCM last year who were surprised by the carnival type, fun atmosphere of this meet. It really is a fun day for the kids….but only if we can get some volunteers to start making plans now for this year’s theme and decorations!
Please email us if you are interested in helping out with this event.
There will be no fun theme this year if we cannot get some helpers to work together soon to make it happen!!

What is the Cary City Meet?
The SV Killer Whales participate in the CARY CITY MEET (CCM) every summer.
All local summer swim teams in the Cary/Apex/HS area are invited to participate in this fun swim meet. We encourage costumes and we decorate the big white tents in a different theme every year.
Our swimmers, parents and coaches always have a lot of fun at this event!!
Watch this video made by the Silverton Sharks for more information about the annual Cary City Meet.
This year the date is Saturday, July 15th and the swim meet will be held at Cary Swim Club’s pool.

CCM is a great opportunity to get best times and engage in friendly competition with a wide-range of swimmers. Let’s work together to continue strong involvement in this community-building endeavor.
Every Swimmer COUNTS!!! Come out and enjoy the fun.
