Sign Up Swimmers for Cary City Meet on Saturday 7/15
The event sign up for Cary City Meet on 7/15 will open by tomorrow.
The SV Killer Whales participate in the CARY CITY MEET (CCM) every summer.
All local summer swim teams in the Cary/Apex/HS area are invited to participate in this fun swim meet. We encourage costumes and we decorate the big white tents in a different theme every year. More to come on this year's theme soon.....
Our swimmers, parents and coaches always have a lot of fun at this event!!
Watch this video made by the Silverton Sharks for more information about the annual Cary City Meet.

The deadline to sign up your swimmers for the CCM is coming up quickly - 12 noon on Wednesday July 5th, 2023!
Parents, please declare whether your swimmer will or will not attend the Cary City Meet in Swimtopia just like you would a regular dual meet.
Swimmers CANNOT be added after the sign up deadline passes.
Please choose the individual events that your swimmer wants to swim.
- 6 and unders can swim in up to 2 individual events.
- At this meet, 6/under swimmers can only swim in FREESTYLE & BACKSTROKE events
- Please note that 6 and under swimmers swim 25 yards at this meet (one full length of pool) and not the 15 yards they swim in Tuesday night meets.
- 7 and up swimmers can swim in up to 3 individual events.
- Parents, please also note if your child is available for relays or not!
The coaches hope that every swimmer will participate and support our team.
Participation Fee:
There is a participation fee for this swim event.
Families pay $6 per individual event.
So, if your child wants to swim in Freestyle, Breaststroke & Butterfly, you will pay $18 for these 3 individual events.
SVKW team will cover the cost for the relays.
Payment is due to SVKW by Saturday July 9th. You can pay either through Venmo @svkillerwhales (please put “CCM fees” to notes box) or bring cash in an envelope to the coaches. Mark your envelope with your child’s name and CCM so we can track who has paid their entrance fees.
Parent Volunteers at CCM:
Every team taking part in CCM has a requirement to supply some parent volunteers to help run this meet. We will get more details after 7/9 about what specific volunteer jobs our parents are expected to cover. The number of slots will be determined by the number of swimmers we sign up.
Please note that these volunteer shifts at CCM are over and above the regular SVKW volunteer shift requirements for Tuesday night meets.
Please plan on signing your swimmers up for The Cary City Meet!
CCM is a great opportunity to get best times and engage in friendly competition with a wide-range of swimmers. Let’s work together to continue strong involvement in this community-building endeavor.
Every Swimmer COUNTS!!! Come out and enjoy the festival atmpsphere.
