Happy Weekend Killer Whales!
We hope you had a great week celebrating Independence Day and our swim meet against the CSC Imps. Despite your best efforts, they proved to be as tricky as their name implies and swam off with a net full of points. Our final score was CSC Imps 307 and SV Killer Whales 206.
In better news, we’re 1/1 in our overall division score (not every team we've swam against is scored in our division) with the potential to earn more in-division wins during the next two meets. Your personal time-drop scores are also looking pretty amazing. That's worth celebrating so keep up the hard work Killer Whales!
Don't forget to send us your pictures (link below) and mark your calendars for upcoming Turn's Clinic, Starts/Finish Clinic, Spirit Nights, and the End of Year Events.
We’ll see you on Deck,
SVKW Board

Shout Out to Our Volunteers!
Thank you Julie Richards for filling in as our TSA Representative! And to Carolina Robbins & Christina Dunn for being flexible with an on-deck job change. Each meet is a little different depending on the technology involved, how the host team operates, and our new TSA changes. We appreciate the flexibility to learn and do new things!
Picking up Award Ribbons after Meets
Check your family folders after a meet on Fridays/Saturdays for your Personal Best (ages 12 and under) and Meet Placement (all ages) ribbons. You can ask for them from the concession attendants anytime you’re at the pool. If you think you’re missing a personal best ribbon, or have other questions, please contact Lily Wan [email protected]

Coach Appreciation: July 14
It is time to show your 2023 Shepherd's Vineyard coaching team some LOVE!!
The SVKW Board will be providing Coaches Meg, Emma, Lauren, Jathan, James, Bryan, Callie, Josie, Tori & Hannah with lunch on Friday 7/14 to thank them for their hard work and dedication to the team this season. They have done a fantastic job!
We know our coaches would enjoy notes, cards, and drawings from their Killer Whales to share their thanks with their coaches. Encourage your swimmers to bring them to practice on 7/14, or anytime next week if you'll miss that day.
