Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the SV Killer Whales 2023 season last night. Congratulations to all of our swimmers, seniors, coaches, & families! We hope you all had a fun evening!!

Thank you also to Erin Spencer, Kate Spain and everyone else who helped make Awards Night possible. You guys ROCKED it!!

Missing Medals

We are so sorry that many of our new Killer Whale swimmers did not get their new team medals last night. We know that many of our youngest Killer Whales were likely very disappointed that they only got the 2023 pin instead of their shiny new medal.  We very much regret letting them down.

We discovered a glitch in the system. 

Kids who were in the Beluga Whales program last year were not counted as new 2023 KW "rookies" so the system did not flag them as needing new team medals. 

We will be compiling a list of new KW team members who did not get a team medal and will get the medals out to you all ASAP.  

Please reply to this email to let us know your child's name so that we can start getting the new medals made this week. (Please email, even if you told someone last night so we can make sure we have a complete list)

We will assume everyone has their 2023 pin unless you let us know otherwise.

Our medal maker can get things done very quickly. We will be in touch when your child's team medal is ready.

Ribbon Boxes at the Pool

We filed all 2023 pins and team medals that were not picked up last night in the swim team ribbon boxes. If you were unable to attend Awards Night, please ask the lifeguards to look in your family's folder for your new hardware the next time you are at the pool.

There are also a lot of ribbons from our meets that still need to be picked up. Please take a couple of minutes the next time you are at the pool to grab your family's swim ribbons before the pool closes and the ribbons get recycled.

We look forward to seeing you all again for a fun evening at the pool on Sunday 7/30!!
