SVKW 2024 Volunteer Openings + Registration News
Hello Killer Whales!
We’re seeing signs of the weather warming back up again and you know what that means: Summer swim is RIGHT around the corner. Your SVKW Swim Board has already been reminiscing about last year’s fun, ordering spirit wear, attending TSA update meetings, meeting with coaches, and dusting off our to-do lists to kick off this year’s season.
In this newsletter:
- Volunteer Full-Season Needs
- Registration News
- Pool Work Day: This Saturday 4/20
SVKW Needs YOU! Can you volunteer to help fill one of these vital season-long roles?
Reminder: SVKW is 100% VOLUNTEER run. Please CAREFULLY consider your willingness and ability to volunteer at meets before registering for SVKW. Each SVKW family is required to earn a specific number of volunteer credits to be qualified to attend practices and swim at meets. Additionally, we have some season-long roles that fulfill all your volunteer credits: both at meets and outside of meets. Running the swim team takes a whole village (or two!). At each meet we have dozens of parents that step into roles to help make it a success. We cannot thank you enough for serving the kids in this way! We mean it literally when we say we could not run a meet without you. For our 2024 Season, we need to fill the below positions. These full-time roles listed below are ones we must have filled to qualify our team to swim at meets.
We did our best to provide an accurate job description for each role (linked here) but don’t hesitate to email questions to: [email protected]
