Hi Killer Whales!

Thanks for your understanding and patience last night with the weather delays and cancellations, as disappointing as it was.  Since we did not have a chance to swim through breaststroke, we'll be making up only the main events and the free relay tonight. 

Because of this, all scheduled KW and Beluga swim practices are cancelled for tonight, and the Ice Cream Social is rescheduled for 7/15.   

7/8 Meet Information, Volunteer Needs, and Parent Responsibilities:  

Swimmers, Volunteers, and Big Whales keep an eye on your email and SwimTopia Alerts for updates and changes. 

If your swimmer is a Main Event or a Free Relay Swimmer and they are not able to swim tonight, please email the Coaches ASAP and let them know: [email protected]  

If you were scheduled to volunteer last night, please contact our volunteer team if you cannot serve, if you have not heard from or talked to them already. [email protected] 

Big Whales, if your Little Whale is in a main event and you are unable to come catch tonight, it would be helpful to let our coordinator, Sarah Hunter, know (via email or the GroupMe app) just so we know to be prepared with a sub.

All other swimmers,  keep an eye on your email. The Coaches will be reaching out to families if they need to fill in spots for the main events and free relay.

Volunteer Needs:

If you're able and willing to help with Meet set up and clean up, let our volunteer team know. We will most likely need some extra hands tonight!

Parent Responsibilities:

Tonight, we will have a basic crew of volunteers on deck, so we need your help!  You will be responsible for making sure your younger swimmers are lined up at first call. Events will move quickly tonight, so please keep them on the pool deck, away from the playground, and ready to go. 

Schedule: 

• 5:00 pm SVKW Warm-ups
• Volunteers, please check in as you arrive, by 5:25 pm at the latest.
• 5:45 pm: Volunteer and Officials Meetings
• 6:00 pm: The Meet will start with the 9/10 Girls Free

Parking and Concessions: 

Even though this is a smaller meet, please leave our parking lot open for the visiting team. 

Bring whatever food, snacks, and drinks your family will need for tonight. We do NOT  have any food trucks or concessions scheduled for tonight.
