It's time to Tie Dye! We hope you'll join us for this fun & messy team event. Each SVKW kiddo is invited to tie dye a t-shirt to wear at our home meet against Walden Creek.

Here are all the details:

• Tie Dye Event Date: Thursday, June 12th
• Stop by anytime between 5:00-8:00pm
• Bring a white t-shirt from home (preferably prewashed) OR purchase a special SVKW white shirt that was made specifically for this event! These will be sold first come first serve for $10 at a few practices before the big day and anything that is left will be available on 6/12.
• Last year the shirts being sold at the event went FAST! Please try to purchase an SVKW tie dye shirt at practice or bring a back up shirt to avoid disappointment. 
• PLEASE rsvp by 6/10/25. We want to have enough supplies for everyone and getting a head count through the rsvp’s is the only way to do that.

Please stop by the pool if you were not able to attend the 5/24 orientation meeting for new parents, or if you have follow up questions about the inner workings of swim team. 

Julie Richards is also the Beluga Whales Chair, so BW parents are also welcome to attend if they have questions about the junior swim program.

Coach Lindsay from the year round swim team, Marlins of Raleigh, will lead the 11/overs in a skills clinic at 10:20am.

Prior to this session (at 10:10am) Coach Lindsay will host an informal Q&A session about year round swimming at MOR for kids & parents.

This is a drop-in event, so swimmers are welcome to grab a teammate and stop by before or after their scheduled practice between 5:00 - 8:00 pm. It’s a great way to connect or reconnect, have some fun, and gear up for an awesome season ahead!
